An industrial supply company, located near Burgettstown, PA, is seeking an Operations Assistant.
Will assist the Operations Manager, Sales team, and Customers.
Answer incoming calls from vendors, sales team, and customers regarding orders.
Prepare quotations and obtain product samples for customers based upon their needs.
Communicate via phone and email with vendors for samples, pricing, and delivery lead times.
Place customer orders with vendors; follow up with vendors to make sure items are on target for shipping dates.
Update Company’s online store, which includes employee purchase programs, etc.
Learn the Company’s promotional vendors and products available from each, understanding set up costs, freight costs, and lead times, etc.
Additional administrative duties as needed.
High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of administrative and/or inside sales experience required
Must have strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn other software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Positive team-oriented attitude
Strong initiative and desire to succeed
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm (flexible)
Additional Salary Information: Pay rate depends on experience
