The Infrastructure Analyst is responsible for securely designing, building, deploying, and maintaining the IT Infrastructure using latest technology and ensuring all systems function seamlessly. This is achieved by planning, designing, and developing systems, environments, databases and servers across the organization (physical, virtual, on-premises and cloud-based). This individual will also analyze and resolve infrastructure problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end user training where required.
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to infrastructure configuration, processes, asset management and service records • Oversee new and existing equipment, hardware, systems and software upgrades • Interact and negotiate with vendors and contractors to secure products and services • Configure servers to ensure their secure and reliable operation for fulfilling business objectives and processes • Monitor and test server performance, troubleshoot and provide performance statistics and reports as needed • Assist in the implementation of and follow proper security protocols • Patch management for servers and appliances • Virtualized, containerized and hyper-converged technology (and related) design and implementation with a focus on resiliency and scalability of architectures • Evaluate new technologies and determine viability and suitability of existing technologies • Create innovative solutions to solve technology and business challenges/needs • Maintain Enterprise Backup infrastructure, test regularly and provide reporting as defined • All other duties as assigned
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or comparable technical degree, plus 2-4 years of related work experience preferred; related advanced degree or equivalent work experience are acceptable • Developing professional expertise, applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues • Exercises judgment and independence in identifying next steps • Ability to troubleshoot application performance issues • Ability to work directly with third party service delivery partners for successful network deployment and operations • 2+ years’ experience configuring and managing Windows servers • 2+ years’ experience with VMware solutions • 2+ years’ experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP • Experience with Nutanix products • Experience with Microsoft PowerShell • Experience with Amazon Cloud Computing Services • Experience with Office 365 administration a plus • Possesses self-direction and follow-through capabilities
