SUMMARY We are currently working with an entrepreneurial, privately held design build Engineering / Construction Company in Butler County to identify an experienced Project Manager.

POSITION The Project Manager will be responsible for: • Pre-construction services on a project to ensure that all constructability, budget, and schedule issues are addressed. • Managing all aspects of design / build projects including design, bidding, scheduling, financials, etc. • Procuring / Sourcing materials / equipment vendors and subcontractors. • Overseeing the engineering and construction of a project from conception to turn over. • Client interaction and the management of their expectations. • Creating / maintaining project schedules, progress reports, financial projections, meeting minutes, etc. • Proposing means and methods of construction and suggesting cost savings or resolve potential problems on the project. • Managing the design-build estimating process and guiding the design team to give information timely to verify that the budget is being adhered to. • Reviewing post award subcontract documents agreements and negotiating final subcontracts. • Staying current with the latest construction materials, processes, and costs in order to facilitate the company’s a competitive edge. • Helping develop new business and opportunities. • Oversee commissioning and start-ups.
REQUIREMENTS • 5 or more years’ experience in commercial construction. • Ability to present a credible, confident, positive image of oneself and the company during oral presentations to clients, designers, and others. • Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with clients, designers, subcontractors, and other personnel when necessary to perform one’s job responsibilities. • Capable of addressing difficult issues with problem-solving techniques and solutions. • Be able to effectively use various computer programs, including but not limited to Excel, Word, Microsoft Project, Adobe Acrobat, Procure, and Sage 100. • Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.
