Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Product Launch Project Manager who will be responsible for acting as lead for corresponding programs and projects, specifically ongoing Product Line Launches.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field
• 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Experience with presenting required for the preparation and presentation of information to leadership
• Experience with multiple Project Management Lifecycle Frameworks (i.e. Waterfall and Agile) is a plus
• PMP certification is a plus
• Web and Ecommerce systems experience is a plus, especially ongoing Web Product Line Launches
• ITIL experience preferred
• Six Sigma (or similar Process Improvement Methods) experience is a plus

Responsibilities:

• Improving the Product Launch Process by working with Functional Teams and SME’s
• Creating business requirements for technology solutions
• Communicating project status to various levels of internal stakeholders
• Uncovering root causes to business challenges, identify opportunities, and make recommendations
• Identifying and communicates risks and issues impacting business rules, functional requirements and specifications
• Participating in managing the scope of applications and related changes
• Collaborating with stakeholders on the evaluation of the feasibility, effort and costs to implement requirements
• Interacting with internal and external peers and managers to exchange information related to areas of specialization
