RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, build, and test user interfaces for autonomous vehicles.
• Develop interfaces that enable engineers to safely and efficiently test prototype autonomous vehicles.
• Develop interfaces that enable customers to experience autonomous vehicle concepts and capabilities.
• Apply state-of-the-art approaches to produce beautiful and user friendly visualizations of complex data in real-time.
• Support user-friendly interaction for mobile devices installed in vehicles.
• Collaborate with HMI and UX teams to develop test, refine and deploy cutting edge user interfaces for use in large 18-wheeler trucks

REQUIREMENTS

• Experience building user interfaces, including for non-desktop applications.
• Experience with 3D visualization of complex data.
• Familiar with C++.
• Skilled taking mockups and digital assets from designers and implementing into code
• Experience working on a team starting with a concept and taking it through to final production and customer deployment
• Experience building user interfaces for autonomous vehicle or automotive applications.
• Scripting skills, preferably bash or Python.
• Experience working with Robot Operating System (ROS).
• Experience developing GUI backends for in-vehicle Infotainment or navigation systems
• At home working in a dynamic startup environment
• Experience with QT or other GUI development languages
• Familiar with telematics or transportation technology platforms
