CAREER CONNECTOR

The Senior Product Owner works on an Agile Team representing the customer and business interests through the definition and prioritization of stories in the team backlog. They will be responsible for owning one or more product features. They will play a key role within our product management function, helping to drive fast-growing product features that are rapidly disrupting the logistics sector. The Senior Product Owner will define, validate, and implement the business needs of project stakeholders, while ensuring an outcome for a product is delivered that meets the requirements from stakeholders and customers. This includes actively seeking and understanding business user needs, gathering and compiling requirements, translating them into user stories with complete acceptance criteria, and conveying actionable information to the software development teams. They will own a particular product feature from inception through implementation. This is a highly collaborative role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Define business and technical requirements for proprietary software systems..
• Defining business requirements and translating them into user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop, maintain, and own the backlog, as well as other Agile artifacts, for a particular product feature.
• Plan, schedule, and run key Agile ceremonies (daily touch point, grooming, sprint planning, retrospective)
• Ensure all business requirements adhere to current standards and development methodology requirements and assist in securing business unit approvals/sign off.
• Participate in technical discovery discussions with business units, external clients and suppliers.
• Ability to collaborate with all areas of the business.
• Provide Level-2 production support for technical issues as needed.
• Other duties as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Strong organization, customer service, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently as well as in a highly collaborative team and cross-functional setting
• Understanding of servant leadership and Agile methodologies
• Working knowledge of SDLC & Agile development
• Business Analysis experience in a high-growth environment
• Experience in web and mobile applications (Android & IOS)
• Prior experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus
