Business Continuity Analyst*
As a Continuity Analyst you will be responsible for partnering with assigned business units and IT staff to perform analysis and recovery requirements elicitation for the development, maintenance, and testing of response and recovery plans to ensure the company can resume critical activities within business identified time frames. This includes the identification, reduction, elimination, or escalation of potential risks and vulnerabilities that could result from a disruption of critical processes due to natural disasters, technical failures, third party vendor failures, market disruptions or human error. Engage in new project work and is expected to mentor business continuity interns.
A candidate for this role will demonstrate excellent decision making, problem solving and analytical skills with particular attention given to detail and accuracy. Familiarity with presentations and group facilitation ranging from small to large audiences is required. Knowledge of principles of auditing, internal control, regulatory compliance or business continuity is preferred.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Emergency Management, Criminology, Law, Risk Management, related field or equivalent experience required
- 4 years of experience which includes exposure to risk management and disaster recovery principles which includes 2 year of business continuity experience; or, 6 years of relevant work experience
- Experience interacting with business partners to drive business continuity planning
- Experience in performing requirements analysis and solid knowledge of methods and techniques to elicit and analyze business requirements
- Experience working in or analysis of office operations with tight time constraints
- Experience prioritizing multiple tasks
