eNGINE is hiring a Data Scientist, to join our remote team, who will leverage your strong collaboration skills and ability to extract valuable insights from highly complex data sets, that incorporate asking the right questions and finding the right answers that seek to understand a product consumer identity, which will improve their overall all experience. To help navigate this journey, you will leverage machine learning and data engineering techniques to satisfy client requests from either on-prem or cloud solutions.
What you will be doing:
- Create organizational understanding on customer reporting
- Determine analytics that proactively seeks to understand customer behavior and provide logic that detects anomalies, that may or may not indicate shifts in behavior.
- Familiarize with the data assets, measurement techniques, and overall analytic capabilities
- Partner with the business to provide measurement needs on key initiatives
What is needed to get you there:
- Bachelor's degree (Masters or PHd preferred) or equivalent experience in a quantitative field (Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, etc.)
- At least 2 years' of experience in quantitative analytics or data modeling
- Strong SQL and Python scripting skills, with preferred skills in Azure/ DataBricks
- Previous experience with transactional or retail data is highly preferred.
- Deep understanding of predictive modeling, machine-learning, clustering and classification techniques, and algorithms
- Familiarity with Big Data frameworks and visualization tools (Cassandra, Hadoop, Spark, Tableau)
