Direct hire opening with our client for an SQL Developer. Work hybrid schedule in Pittsburgh, PA (Moon Township area).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and tune data sets for use in reports, visualizations, and projects
Enhance data warehouse capabilities with efficient designs and new integrations
Manage ETL processes
Migrate new and archive retired data sets
Develop and document robust, high quality software according to specified requirements while complying with SDLC standards and procedures
Provide production support and ongoing maintenance while focusing on resolving problems raised by team members, stakeholders and end users

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience required
3-5 years of similar or transferrable experience required
Knowledge of or experience with Agile development methodologies
Knowledge of or prior experience with:
- SQL Server
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Power BI Services
- PostgreSQL, MySQL
- Query Tuning
Strong written and oral communication skills
Able to work independently and in groups in a rapidly changing dynamic environment
Experience with .NET and Power BI Visuals SDK preferred
Relevant industry certification(s) and financial services industry experience a plus
