What you’ll be doing to contribute to our team:
- Manage all aspects of the recruitment life cycle, developing new and innovative strategies for the process.
- Identify methods and tools for sourcing candidates, including proactive networking with passive candidates, diverse candidates, interns and recent graduates, etc. to create a recruiting pipeline.
- Partner with company leadership and hiring managers to provide guidance and to fully understand their needs and open positions.
- Form and grow partnerships with groups focused on diversity initiatives, third-party staffing agencies, schools, trade/professional organizations, etc.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to brand the recruitment function and to utilize social media and other internet-based options for sourcing candidates.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the applicable legal environments (including EEO, AAP, compliance strategies, jurisdictional employment laws, etc.) and company policies.
- Use ATS and other technology tools to track applicants and to develop metrics to assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies in support of the company’s business goals and workforce plans.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to a variety of groups of varying sizes including large crowds in support of recruitment initiatives.
- Develop and manage the recruitment budget, including negotiating contracts and expenses associated with vendor services.
- Work with the training department and others to streamline onboarding activities and to welcome all new employees to the company.
- Determine competitive compensation ranges for positions by benchmarking jobs against survey data and other market intelligence.
Your background:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR and/or recruitment, with a minimum of 1 year sourcing technical jobs. Prior experience in engineering or manufacturing in an international environment preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
- Highly proficient with computers and technology, including intermediate-to-advanced level Microsoft Office and Excel skills, and comfortable processing data using ADP, JazzHR (or similar ATS) and D365 (or similar ERP system).
- Ability for periodic, domestic travel.
- Deadline driven in a fast-paced environment with excellent time-management skills, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, clients, etc.
