Compunetix is seeking an individual responsible for processing weekly payroll and related administrative tasks for our stable, high-tech organization. The position requires attention to detail and a high level of discretion. We would prefer someone with an understanding of payroll related concepts including time and attendance, withholdings/deductions, tax filings, direct deposit, atypical calculations and garnishments.
Responsibilities:
Assist with processing weekly payroll (30%)
Assist with related administrative/human resources tasks (70%)
Requirements:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in related field such as accounting, business, or human resources
Previous responsibility for start-to-finish payroll processing
Some experience with human resources administration including employee benefits
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
ADP, AS/400 and experience with an applicant tracking system(s) a plus
