The Position:
Reporting to the Director of Support Services, the Manager of Learning Technology Services (LTS) belongs within the Technology Support team in the Information Technology Services (ITS) department of PennWest. Managing the teams responsible for the provision and maintenance of all instructional platforms (LMS, Video Hosting/Conferencing), as well as the teams responsible for the provision and support of classroom technology across the three campuses.
The ITS department promotes team-oriented collaboration and open communication and the Manager of LTS position is instrumental to our success.

Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years of experience working within IT management.
Demonstrable knowledge of project management.
Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills is required.
Administrative experience of Distance Ed technologies: LMS, Video Hosting/Conferencing.
Experience of AV installation and management is desired.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in an academic environment.
Extron or other AV related Certifications.
Quality Matters/OLC or other Distance Education related certification.
