SUMMARY We’re working with a privately held non-union manufacturer with over 130 years in business to identify an experienced Human Resources Generalist. Located north of Pittsburgh, this manufacturer has just under 300 employees total and is comprised of three companies, each with different and unique needs and spread across 5 locations and 4 states. This is a newly created position to allow the HR Director to shift his focus from the day-to-day to higher level strategic initiatives and to work more closely with managers. As an HR Generalist, you’ll focus on the day-to-day tasks in the HR department to include recruiting, employee relations, HRIS support and improvements, talent management, and policy updates, as well as support the HR Director with strategic initiatives and projects, such as building HR systems in the areas of talent management and succession planning, and development of recruiting and HRIS strategies, to name a few.

BASE REQUIREMENTS • A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of HR experience is preferred • Non-degreed candidates with a minimum of 6 years of HR experience will be considered • HRIS experience • HR experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred • Pre-employment requirements include a physical, background check, and drug screen.
