Our client has an immediate need for a Cisco Voice Network Engineer, who will be responsible for providing design, implementation, upgrade, and maintenance services for Cisco Unified Communications and Contact Center technologies Requirements:
BA/BS degree in a technical discipline
4+ years of combined Cisco Collaboration, UCCE, VoIP troubleshooting, design, and configuration experience
Experience with Cisco CUCM
Experience with Cisco Unity Connect
Experience with Cisco CCX/PCCE
Experience with Cisco CER
Experience with Oracle SBCs
Experience with SIP/VoIP routing protocols
Experience with supporting a 24/7/365 utility infrastructure
Understanding of customer contact center concepts including skills-based routing
Experience with voice network technologies including switching, messaging, and signaling
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment with aggressive project timeframes
Cisco Voice / Collaboration /UCCE certification is preferred
Responsibilities:
Designing, modifying, and testing
Interfacing with data network engineering, server support, and the business to provide requirements for Contact Center and Operations Center processes
Participating in high-level design of infrastructure with experts from other groups and with vendors
Supporting the deployment of new voice network technologies and upgrades of existing voice network technologies
Monitoring customer contact center technology including systems, applications, call routing, and voice network traffic
Modifying voice network system configurations based on business requirements and other factors
Leading planned system maintenance and change control process
Performing triage and troubleshooting of voice network technologies
