Overview:
The Agile Product Owner - Associate role at SoftWriters is responsible for bringing new capabilities to the market, while supporting one or more Agile Product Owners. As an Associate Agile Product Owner, your duties will include working across product verticals understanding and analyzing customer requests and executing product release tasks. We desire for you to grow into a cross functional product expert and to be able to understand customer needs in order to translate that into software solution requirements and delivering product value with Agile Scrum teams.
The successful candidate is passionate about building innovative products that drive impact, with a laser focus on rapidly changing customer needs and market landscape. This person can manage competing priorities simultaneously, embraces complex problem-solving and believes in cross-functional teamwork to deliver exceptional results and value. This person will be part of a high-performing and talented product management team.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions include, but are not limited to, the following:
Participate as a working team member on a Scrum Team(s)
Understand the “big picture” of challenges impacting the customer experience, including the technical, functional and process considerations, to facilitate and define solutions to those challenges
Work alongside other Product Owners and Product Managers in an effort to execute on key performance indicators and the critical business objectives
Participate in requirement gathering and document review sessions and strategic planning events
Participate in Scrum events as a working team member
Possess a strong customer focus to deeply understand our customers and their needs
Facilitate meetings and forums to support communication responsibility to build a strong partnership with stakeholders
Work with business stakeholders to identify and articulate scope and value
Collaborate intensely with the product development team
Define strong user stories based on customer insights
Lead product backlog sessions partnering with business and value stream partners
Validate customer acceptance and incorporate customer feedback
Manage limited production releases and early product validation
Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) and requirements signoff
Manage incoming customer requests for product defects and enhancements
Manage communication between product team and support teams
Perform administrative tasks around product release and hotfix release
Develop and maintain an appropriately prioritized backlog of user stories under the direction of the Agile Product Owner
Demonstrate good judgement for product development against company vision
Reports to the Sr Product Owner
Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or other technology related field or equivalent experience
Two (2) years of software product management experience or similar role
One (1) or more years of Agile-Scrum development experience

Customer Centered, Responsive Experience in gathering and interpreting qualitative and quantitative product and customer feedback

Highly and Self-motivated with capacity to work under pressure and deliver high caliber products under tight deadlines
Flexibility to travel for onsite meetings with clients/partners, as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
Scrum Certification (Scrum.org or Scrum Inc.) Scrum Master, Product Owner preferred Knowledge of pharmacy management or similar health care technology solutions.
