The FP&A Analyst will be an integral part of the finance and accounting team. The Analyst will primarily be responsible for supporting daily, weekly, and monthly reporting needs of the Company. The responsibilities will include budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and development of new content to create insights into the performance of the business. Those insights will come in the form of reports, dashboards, and KPIs. In addition, this role will have secondary duties to support the Accounting function, including month-end close duties, balance sheet reconciliations, and support of special projects.
Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Provide assistance with the development, production, and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including the following:
Month end reporting package
Operational reporting, including Retail Operations, Foodservice, Nexus Energy Services
Mid-month forecasts
Periodic cash forecasts
Develop a thorough understanding of existing reporting, including underlying tables where the data resides.
Partner with the team and other lines of business to conduct ad-hoc analysis, projections, reports and presentations
Assume responsibility for fixed asset accounting, including the following:
Maintain the fixed asset sub-ledger
Perform monthly reconciliation of fixed asset subsidiary ledger balance with the general ledger
Perform monthly depreciation calculation for all fixed assets; ensure entries are properly recorded
Perform asset retirement obligation calculations for ARO applicable assets
Carry out periodic reviews on tangible and intangible assets’ impairment
Create fixed asset related audit schedules, and collaborate with auditors on their assignments
Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
Actively participate in weekly Finance and Accounting staff meetings.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information, investment decisions, or any other tasks assigned by the organization.

Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related experience required
0-3 years of accounting or finance experience require
Familiarity with PowerBI, Tableau, Targit, or other data visualization software preferred
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, data analytics, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations preferred
Experience with retail accounting preferred
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication and presentation skills
