Castle Biosciences Inc. is growing, and we are looking to hire an IT, Audio/Video & Facilities Technician I, working from our Pittsburgh, PA, (UPARC) lab location, with a preferred start date of April 1, 2023.

This unique role combines the skillset of an audio-visual technician with ability to assist with general facilities maintenance. The ideal candidate will have experience installing equipment related to A/V, IT, office, and security, including wiring, as well as a working knowledge of building systems and the ability to be the liaison between building management and contractors for facilities projects.
A DAY IN THE LIFE OF IT, Audio/Video & Facilities Technician I, includes setting up IT equipment, phones, and printers for employees, managing inventory and allocating IT equipment, maintaining network equipment, to include pulling low voltage wire as needed, network deployment and floor plan development including rack installation, patch panels. Acting as the liaison with contractors to ensure building projects move forward.
This position earns a competitive base pay, paid semi-monthly, annual bonus potential, and receives company-restricted stock units (RSUs). WORK SCHEDULE
The typical workday is Mon-Fri from 8 am-4 pm (with flexibility) from our Pittsburgh, PA, (UPARC) Lab location. 90% of time spent working in office and 10% of time for travel to support expansion projects in our Phoenix, AZ and Friendswood, TX locations, along with conferences/meetings attendance for IT support.
