Our client has an immediate need for a NOC Technician, who will be will be responsible for collecting all pertinent information for the trouble ticket and escalating to tier 2 support or an on-call engineer for assistance Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent technical training from an accredited trade school
Ability to independently analyze, communicate and resolve problems with the ability to work with little to no supervision
Experienced verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
Experience with basic computer hardware, PC desktop operating systems, and applications
Experience with analytical, and problem-solving skills and be ability to show initiative and sound judgment
Experience with Linux/Mac a plus
Responsibilities:
Developing and maintaining technical documentation for hardware and software configuration management and tracking
Providing tier 1 technical support for calls to the call center and support requests submitted online
Providing customers with periodic updates and serving as the communications liaison between engineers and customers.
