Description:

Our client has an immediate need for a Senior Data Network Engineer, who will be responsible for monitoring data communications networks and ensuring the network is available to all system users

Requirements:

• College degree, with 7+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with Network firewalls (Cisco ASA, Cisco NGFW, Checkpoint)
• Experience with Network switching (Cisco, Arista, Juniper)
• Experience with network routing (OSPF, BGP, iBGP)
• Experience with DHCP/DNS
• Experience with Wireless Networking (Cisco)
• Experience with Cloud Networking (Azure, AWS)
• Experience with Network load balancing
• Experience with Network transport (IP/MPLS, DWDM, Cisco, Arista, Nokia)

Responsibilities:

• Diagnosing network system failures and performing minor repairs and adjustments on routine issues
• Resolving data communication problems within established service levels agreements and defined procedure
• Providing technical guidance to lower-level staff in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving network performance problems
• Installing network hardware, software, and peripheral components according to design and installation specifications and ensuring operability
• Performing network device software/firmware upgrades
