Overview of Responsibilities:

The Electrical Engineer entry-level position where the employee will be responsible for implementing the electrical design concepts for, large-scale electronic equipment or machinery for use in vacuum equipment. This may require the use of computer-assisted engineering, design software, and equipment to perform assignments. Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals. This position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering. The ideal candidate must demonstrate familiarity in a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures, and rely on management’s direction to plan goals and tasks.  This position has the opportunity to be hybrid after an initial onsite training period.

Key Job Elements:

• Create detailed drawings for electrical components and systems to provide useful and safe equipment
• Design power distribution systems and equipment control systems
• Create Bills of Material in our corporate ERP system
• Perform prototype assembly and testing of components and sub-modules
• Troubleshoot equipment during building phase
• Inspect incoming products from new vendors
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited ABET program
• Strong CAD experience with Solid Edge or comparable 3D system
• Exposure to agency compliance codes such as NEC, NFPA, UL, CE
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred

• Experience with AutoCAD or other 2D drafting package
