CAREER CONNECTOR

Minimum 8 years of hands on technical network engineering support experience.

CONTRACT TO START WITH POTENTIAL FOR DIRECT HIRE. MUST BE LOCAL TO PITTSBURGH, PA IN ORDER TO WORK ONSITE.

In this Network Support Engineer role you will provide service to clients with the Pittsburgh, PA for computer and network related support issues. You will travel within 50 mile radius of Pittsburgh to customer sites. 

Requirements

• Associates Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 8 years of hands-on technical networking experience including installing, servicing, and troubleshooting 
• One or more of the following certifications: Microsoft, Cisco, Symantec, VMware, and HP. 
• Technical experience in the following areas:

Software:

• Microsoft Windows Server and Microsoft Exchange Server 
• Office 365
• Client Operating Systems 
• WatchGuard, Cisco, and other software VPN clients.
• Symantec Backup Exec and Endpoint Antivirus 
• VMware
• Barracuda Cloud Services

Hardware:

• WatchGuard & Cisco Hardware Firewalls and VPNs
• HP Switches & Cisco Routers/Switches
• Wireless Products
• HP and Dell Servers
• Barracuda Networks Products

Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills 
Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed).
Must have reliable transportation. (Mileage/Parking reimbursed).
