Our client has an immediate need for a Primavera Project Scheduler
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
7+ years of relevant experience or 11+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
Responsibilities:
Scheduling best practices and complying with documented procedures
Helping the PM decompose the work breakdown structure (WBS) and identify activities to account for all scope to the appropriate level of granularity
Supporting WBS Dictionary development
Cost and resource load schedule activities
Building an activity network to generate a critical path
Establishing and maintaining a project baseline in compliance with change control procedure
Utilizing rolling wave planning to align with gate approval process
Supporting business cycle to include schedule status, analysis, report generation, and monthly project review
Executing monthly schedule closing process which includes schedule status, schedule health analysis, store period performance, and capturing a monthly rolling baseline
Supporting annual Business Plan development
Ensuring accuracy and timeliness of project controls deliverables
Generating established and ad hoc P6 reports, layouts, dashboards, and forecasts for stakeholders
Providing variance and performance indices using established earned value management system
Leading the change control process on assigned projects
Running what-if scenarios to analyze potential impacts, changes, or portfolio balancing
Reviewing contractor schedules and performance data to confirm accuracy and compliance with the contract requirements
Evaluating and providing causes and potential corrective actions for monthly variances and performance indices
Monitoring critical and sub-critical paths
Providing float analysis to the project team
Inputting schedule updates and identifying impacts on the schedule or cost
Assisting the Project Manager with project closeout activities
Creating major milestones, outages, and handoff activities to enhance communication between groups and management
Providing mentorship and coaching on project controls topics
