Description: Reporting to the OSVCR Director of Communications, responsible for planning, developing and executing effective, user-friendly websites and a range of digital experiences. Responsible for collaborating with SVCR team and other peers throughout SVCR units and the university. The position requires a strong degree of initiative and independence, proven communications expertise, collaboration in a team environment, project management proficiency, and expertise to develop new communications strategies and tools, maintain existing tools and services, and achieve successful results.
Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Communications in the Office of the Senior Vice Chancellor for Research (SVCR), this newly created position will create and modify Drupal-based content, and lead content-creation projects to ensure functionality, accessibility, consistency and quality control. The specialist must also be able to: • Monitor and accordingly adjust digital content • Demonstrate measurable results• Provide proven expertise in the areas of content creation and information architecture• Create metrics
Minimum five years professional experience and full technical knowledge to create and publish websites, webpages and other digital content. Bachelors degree required. Proven success at analyzing metrics and understanding user behaviors.
