Overview:
The Implementation Specialist is the key person who transitions pharmacies through training, startup and steady state. To ensure that this work is done efficiently, he/she works with the individual pharmacies to understand current operations and workflow. He/she is also responsible for creating project plans that are user friendly and have a positive impact on the customers’ success. The Implementation Specialist also has an in-depth knowledge of day-to-day pharmacy operations, workflow and regulations.
Responsibilities:
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:
Schedule and lead weekly conference calls with new pharmacies.
Communicate project plans and timelines.
Ensure pharmacies are on track for implementation.
Guide pharmacies through set up of key areas of the application.
Advise internal team members of current implementation state.
Participate in follow up meetings.
Enlist and coordinate other internal teams to ensure successful implementation.
Travel to client sites or business related functions, as necessary.
Provide pharmacy go-live support.
Conduct training of new customers and ongoing training as needed.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience and education in computer science, training, or pharmacy related field
Knowledge of long term care pharmacy operations and work flow processes
Knowledge of state, federal, and DEA regulations as it relates to long term care pharmacy
Unwavering commitment to, and demonstration of, SoftWriters Core Values and encouragement of others
Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience in, providing excellent customer service
Knowledge of and creativity in troubleshooting pharmacy software application and work flow process problems
Ability to quickly learn new software and technologies
Ability to work independently and collaboratively to resolve client issues without detailed supervision in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with colleagues at all levels as required
Experience and creativity in troubleshooting application problems
Ability to speak effectively in interpersonal situations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and technical judgment
Ability to travel to customer sites or business related functions, as needed
