Overview: Management Science Associates, Inc., (MSA) is a diversified information management company that for over half a century has given market leaders the competitive edge in data management, analytics and technology. We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join the MSA IT/OPS division which has been offering data and insight solutions to the Consumer Package Goods industry since the early 1980s.
As a Project Coordinator you will be working closely with a cross sectional team of IT, Client Relations and Operational personnel to manage and deliver data directly to our clients. This will include data loading, cleansing, master data management and extraction as well as building data warehouses and reporting. You will work across multiple IT groups to ensure system releases are successfully migrated to production and that all deliverables reach our clients on time and correct.
Responsibilities:
Manage and provide leadership on a project basis and is able to proactively identify and solve problems; set projects goals based on broad objectives assigned by internal management or client.
Work with internal teams and/or client to recommend methods to accomplish desired results; translate client requirements into operational instructions and question atypical requests; provide time and resource estimates upon request; prepare schedule analysis reports for internal and external use.
Meet with team to review project plans, deadlines, issues and new work; set priorities for projects they are assigned; use metrics to evaluate the productivity of work group; responsible for resource allocation for existing work and new initiatives; may be responsible for direct supervision of employees assigned to their projects; take full ownership and accountability for their work.
Review and audit processes with attention towards automation and continuous improvement concerning efficiencies, costs, turnaround, and risk; participate in and/or oversee the implementation of changes; track and document all process improvements.
Enforce the use of proper standard operating procedures and documentation; ensure staff is able to use current documentation to perform their job.
Communicate and coordinate work across functional areas within the division; lead discussions, and participate in client calls and meetings for assigned projects; document and communicate issues and achievements for assigned projects; escalate issues to appropriate people.
Participate in and oversee the implementation of strategic goals for assigned areas of responsibilities; meet with management on a regular basis to review, update and monitor progress of goals.
Attend ongoing training to achieve personal, professional, and technical improvement; ensure staff receives appropriate training; participate in the development and delivery of operational training.
Required Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent experience. A master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or a related discipline may substitute for one year of experience.
Minimum five years relevant experience, with demonstrated abilities in project planning and project management
Requires the experience to interact on client and business issues with all levels of staff in different work areas

Ability to work on multiple platforms with various technologies
