This opening is for a Senior Collaboration Engineer in the Pittsburgh, PA region to perform project-based consulting with various customers to design, implement, and support Microsoft and Cisco-based Collaboration and Voice networks (and more). The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is able to work in a team environment and can resolve issues independently. Having a positive attitude that you display with good customer service skills and strong communication skills is key.
In this role you will work in a either a virtual office, office, or client-based environment to assist customers with network high-level and detailed design, implementation, operations, troubleshooting and issue resolution. You will develop documentation as it relates to project requirements and assist with or develop customer-facing presentations of technology solutions. Thus, we prefer those with the ability to write assessment and design reports and present them to our customers.
You will:
- Assess, design, implement, troubleshoot, and document Microsoft and Cisco collaboration and voice networks and related systems.
- Develop both high-level and detailed implementation and test plans for Microsoft and Cisco collaboration and voice technologies related to enterprise networks.
- Provide knowledge transfer and informal training to clients.

- Experience with AudioCodes and/or Oracle SBCs
- Experience with Voice Migration Tools (COBRAS, PCD)
- General Knowledge on SIP, H.323, TDM, IP Routing/Switching, MPLS, SRST
- Extensive experience on working with and designing enterprise dial-plans (E.164 especially)
- Extensive work with Cisco Jabber, Webex, and Microsoft Teams
- VG 3xx/4xx Cisco Analog Gateways
- AudioCodes MediaPack Analog Gateways
- UCCX – Contact Center experience
- Experience in a consultative capacity
- Ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
Certifications in multiple technology areas are a significant plus.
Candidate should have at least five (5) years of industry experience.
Must be able to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
Must be able to work with practice lead to coordinate scheduling to meet customer needs, sometimes juggling multiple projects at one time.
Must routinely communicate work status and potential issues to practice lead without prompting.
Able to travel within the region or work remotely as needed to support consulting customers.
