DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES: Dollar Bank is hiring for a Financial Analyst II. You will be primarily responsible for noninterest income management reporting and analysis. Successful candidates in this role typically possess a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong financial modeling skills, and the ability to interact with various areas of the Bank. This is a hybrid position.
Principal Activities and Duties: • Prepare a comprehensive monthly noninterest income reporting package for senior management. Report includes financial schedules and commentary as well as key drivers and volume analysis detail. • Track drivers and trends of noninterest income products including overdraft, ATM, debit card, credit card, deposits, and treasury management. • Participate in month-end close process. Ensure financial results are accurate and prepare accruals as necessary. • Review and document monthly variances to forecast and budget. Interact with various areas of Dollar Bank, including Accounting, product management, and business units to research material variances as needed. • Create and enhance existing forecast modeling for fee products using a driver-based approach. • Develop annual fee budgets and monthly forecasts. Proactively identify opportunities and risks while ensuring that they are reflected in forecast or budget. Work with business partners to identify and develop solutions that help mitigate risk items. • Opportunity to work on assignments outside of fee reporting duties, gaining exposure to different areas of Dollar Bank. • Assist with reporting and budget/forecast development for the Branch Banking Division of Dollar Bank. Prepare and distribute monthly budget variance reports to business units within these divisions. • Respond to other ad hoc inquiries and/or reporting needs.

Required Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related area. Will consider commensurate experience. Master’s degree or MBA preferred. • Minimum of three (3) years of direct experience in business unit financial management, preferably at a financial institution. • Strong PC skills including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (candidate will be tested for proficiency with intermediate/advanced MS Excel skills). • Detailed oriented, diligent with strong organizational and analytical skills. • Strong interpersonal skills for effective interaction with business partners. • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to work independently and a proactive, action-oriented approach to problem solving. • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities while consistently meeting deadlines.
Desired Qualifications: • Knowledge of banking fee items such as Overdraft, ATM, Debit Card, Credit Card, Deposits, and Treasury Management. • Working knowledge of Hyperion Essbase and query data management tools (i.e. Power Query, Crystal).
