The engineering team at Idelic is passionate about developing the end-to-end SaaS platform that our customers depend on for managing their drivers. This team collaborates with product management, customer success, and leadership to innovatively deliver new products, iterate on existing features, and tackle tech debt for customers. The Data Services team at Idelic builds and manages our data processing platform. Our vast number of data collectors and integrations provide our customers with unrivaled knowledge of their fleets. The platform must run reliably and efficiently and must make the data accessible in a fast and secure manner. Our Data Services team works closely with customers & integration partners to help them realize their data & pipelining needs, establishing Safety Suite as the hub for all of the fleet’s data.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

QA Engineers work closely with Engineering and Product as part of the Software Development Life Cycle to provide quality through test coverage of our in house software solution and data integrations. In this role, you will build and execute test cases and suites to help improve the quality of all aspects of our software applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain test cases for our SaaS application and ETL pipelines
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other QA team members to create test strategies for new product features
• Test new features and impacted modules during the development process  
• Enable and maintain a test automation suite and other tools that drive software quality
• Support and develop our technical culture by being engaged, intellectually curious, friendly, and motivated to solve complex problems
• Work on any task and help solve problems when needed

MUST POSSESS

• 3-5 years of experience testing SaaS type applications
• Experience with Postman or similar tools to test API endpoints and mock calls
• Experience with data and SQL
• Experience estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
• Experience identifying and thoroughly documenting bugs
• Analytical and problem solving skills 
• Proven ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment
