eNGINE is seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect to support our Pittsburgh-based customer, a leader in residential and commercial security solutions.

As a Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role within the Corporate Business Applications team, providing architectural oversight, technical leadership, and strategic guidance for in-house Microsoft-centric applications and their integration with third-party systems.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure business requirements are met through scalable and efficient architectural solutions.
• Provide expert guidance on best practices for application development, integrations, and enterprise architecture, with a focus on Microsoft-centric environments.
• Design, develop, and lead the implementation of applications using technologies like .NET Core, C#, Angular, and Azure cloud services.
• Perform technical analysis related to software design, development, and testing.
• Document program development processes, coding logic, and issue resolutions for efficient knowledge sharing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues across multiple development and production environments.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards, methodologies, and the technology stack.
• Act as a technical advisor, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and supporting business goals.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software architecture and application development.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, including .NET Core, C#, SQL Server, and Angular.
• Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks like React.
• Proven experience with Azure cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience in service-oriented architecture (SOA) or microservices-based architecture; familiarity with Azure Service Bus or similar message-oriented middleware.
• Advanced understanding of Agile software development practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to lead and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) solutions will move your resume to the top of the list.
