eNGINE is hiring a skilled Java Developer to contribute to the design, development, and integration of software systems and processes. This role involves writing high-quality code, analyzing data, and collaborating closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure seamless implementation and integration of technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be innovative, adaptable under pressure, and possess strong analytical, time management, and communication skills. This position plays a key role in supporting our mission and aligning with Prodigy’s core values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write, test, and maintain efficient and scalable Java code
• Review and debug code for accuracy, functionality, and performance
• Design and implement scalable and maintainable system architectures
• Regularly analyze and optimize code segments to improve performance
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate development tasks and timelines
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends
• Evaluate client and vendor systems to understand needs, capabilities, and constraints
• Support the Director of Technical Services in achieving departmental goals
• Assist and collaborate across teams to enhance the overall value Prodigy delivers
• Conduct production releases to ensure system stability and enable new features

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in software/system design and development
• Proficiency in Java and SQL, with hands-on experience in Azure Cloud Services
• Familiarity with libraries and frameworks such as Spring Boot, MapStruct, Apache Camel, Event Hubs, etc.
• Strong experience developing and maintaining user interface.
