Role Overview

eNGINE is seeking an experienced Appian Developer to support the delivery of low-code solutions that automate workflows and improve business operations. This role will focus on building, enhancing, and supporting Appian applications while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate is technically strong, communicative, and comfortable helping guide others on Appian best practices.

What You’ll Do

• Design and develop Appian applications & workflow solutions that streamline business processes and reduce manual effort
• Translate business and technical requirements into scalable workflow-driven solutions
• Build and maintain integrations between Appian and external systems
• Support applications across the full development lifecycle, including testing and production support
• Collaborate with developers, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality delivery
• Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and informal training to team members using Appian

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience developing applications with Appian
• Approximately 5 years of overall software development experience
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience working in team-oriented development environments

Preferred Experience

• Background working with full-stack or enterprise systems using technologies such as ASP.NET, JavaScript, and web services (REST or SOAP)
• Experience querying and supporting databases such as SQL Server (2016 or newer)
• Familiarity with source control tools like Git
• Exposure to agile delivery practices and tools such as Azure DevOps or Jira
