Responsibilities may include any of the following:
- Select, develop, train, and deploy deep neural network architectures using tools such as PyTorch, and train them for object and event detection and classification tasks.
- Develop image analysis algorithms and deep learning architectures to solve problems.
- Collaborate with team members.
A qualified candidate will exhibit most of the characteristics below:
- Passion and interest in working in a fast-paced startup, small-team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- A willingness and ability to innovate and think "outside of the box."
- Proficiency in developing deep learning architectures and image analysis algorithms.
- Good python programming skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- A willingness to work full time.
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree – machine learning, computer vision, computer science, mathematics or equivalent
- Ideally 2+ years’ proven work experience in deep learning, and machine learning.
- Demonstrable experience in python
Bonus points for the following:
- Knowledge of computer vision
- C++ programming skills
- Familiarity with linux
- Familiarity with OpenCV
- Familiarity with AWS
- Experience of git
- Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
