eNGINE is hiring an experienced consultant for an initial discovery engagement to help us understand the technology landscape and how these systems can be effectively integrated with our existing modern web-based platform. This is a short-term, remote consulting engagement with flexible hours and the potential for extensions based on the project’s evolution. This is ideal for seasoned professionals with deep ACUCOBOL-GT and AcuToWeb expertise who enjoy technical strategy and integration work.

What You’ll Do:

• Participate in discovery discussions with internal stakeholders to provide expert insight into ACUCOBOL-GT and AcuToWeb technologies.
• Advise on integration strategies with existing web platform, including architectural considerations and potential pitfalls.
• Identify “gotchas” or key challenges to anticipate in modernization or integration efforts.
• Recommend approaches to streamline deployment, maintenance, and interoperability with existing systems.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience working with COBOL applications and ACUCOBOL-GT.
• Familiarity with AcuToWeb and experience “webifying” legacy COBOL applications.
• Strong understanding of system integration best practices.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Availability for flexible, part-time consulting (approx. 25–100 hours initially).
