Pitt IT Client Services - Pennsylvania-Pittsburgh - (22009386)
Pitt Information Technology is hiring for an IT Business Partner (ITBP) whose primary functions are to be a strategic IT leader, converging IT with the University areas (responsibility centers, schools, departments, or units) for which they are responsible. The ITBP will align with the area leadership to plan IT strategies and establish the objectives-driven vision for the area's future technology needs while converging Pitt IT best practices, software, and solutions to the area whenever possible.
The ITBP will keep communications open with the stakeholders through regular meetings and reporting. In addition, the ITBP will interact and maintain working relationships with all Pitt IT teams to ensure that IT capacity and area demand are well understood, track the adoption and success metrics of implementations, and strategically make adjustments when necessary.

Analyze and evaluate
IT resources and budgeting
Align available people and resources to tasks/projects
Establish standards for area software and enterprise initiatives
Conduct analysis on technology and business processes
Evaluate non-enterprise solutions for area use, directing areas towards Pitt enterprise software, solutions, and practices when possible
Review implementation metrics
Identify the best IT solutions that will propel the area's objectives
Maintain and manage regular contact with stakeholders
Communicate Pitt IT Initiatives and service changes
Report status and updates to key stakeholders
Build positive working relationships with Pitt IT teams, directors, senior management and internal and external stakeholders.

Equivalent combinations of education, relevant experience, and industry certifications may be considered per University guidelines.Three or more years as an IT Business Relationship Manager, IT Business Partner, IT Director, or other experience in IT relationship management is required.
