Responsibilities include: 

• Running routine compound characterizations (MS, NMR, and HPLC) and assays (plasma stability, metabolic stability, solubility) in a consistent, timely, and reliable manner  

• Basic maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of laboratory instruments 

• Managing relationships with vendors for preventative maintenance visits and service calls  

• Maintenance of laboratory inventory, including chemical compound receipt, registration, and distribution  

• Assisting with research sample shipments to and from external partners 

• Ordering and stocking laboratory reagents and supplies 

Qualifications: 

• BS in Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related discipline with 2+ years’ experience working in a laboratory environment 

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail  

• Ability to learn quickly and incorporate feedback into workflows 

• Experience running standardized protocols and performing basic maintenance on LC/MS systems or similar instrumentation 

• Familiarity with fundamental principles of drug discovery process is preferred 

• Experience with commercially available LIMS and barcoding solutions is preferred 

• Strong written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
