We’re hiring a SQL Developer to support critical database initiatives for one of our leading clients in the Pittsburgh region. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex data problems, optimizing performance, and collaborating across teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design, develop, and maintain MS SQL databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
• Write complex queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting (ETL).
• Optimize and tune T-SQL queries for performance and scalability.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with developers, DBAs, analysts, and stakeholders to gather and meet data requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related performance and reliability issues.
• Create and maintain documentation on database structures and best practices.
• Contribute to the Secure Development Life Cycle and perform unit testing.

 What You Bring

• Proven experience as an SQL Developer or similar role.
• Hands-on experience with MS SQL or other relational databases.
• Strong knowledge of database design principles, including normalization, relationships, and indexing.
• Expertise in query tuning and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with ETL tools, SSRS, Power BI, and cloud-based database environments.
• Understanding of coding fundamentals and secure development practices.
• Excellent analytical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
