COBOL Developer
eNGINE is partnering with a leading financial institution to hire a hands-on developer eager to bring automation, efficiency, and fresh perspective to a legacy mainframe environment. This role offers the chance to influence process improvements within a team. This role requires candidates to work onsite 4x/week downtown, so applicants must be local to Pittsburgh. Key Responsibilities: Design, write, modify, and debug COBOL code for enterprise-level mainframe systems. Interface with DB2 databases and ensure performance and data integrity. Develop and support CICS transaction-based applications. Navigate and work across core mainframe tools like IBM JCL, MVS, ISPF, Easytrieve, and Compuware File-Aid.
