Shift: Monday – Friday, Daylight
Key Responsibilities:
Manage full cycle biweekly payroll for multistate U.S. operations and Canada, including system maintenance, tax filings, garnishments, overtime, unemployment verifications, employee changes, and reporting.
Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, federal and state tax regulations, and applicable employment standards
Calculate and process monthly incentive program and commission payments.
Administer benefit programs and maintain files and documentation in accordance with regulations and company policies
Oversee Workers’ Compensation claims and work with EHS Manager to maintain OSHA documentation
Maintain and recommend improvements to HRIS and time & attendance systems.
Support audits, reconciliations, census reporting, and payroll related accounting activities
Respond to employee and vendor payroll inquiries with professionalism, discretion, and timeliness
Minimum 2+ years of experience in Payroll, Accounting, Finance, and/or Human Resources
Associate’s degree in related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office; comfortable working with payroll, benefits, and HR systems
Comfortable suggesting and presenting process improvements
Experience with D365 or another ERP system preferred
Deadline driven in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
